Mike Flanagan is becoming a very busy man in the horror field and when he takes on the works of Stephen King, then something really specials happens.

After Doctor Sleep and Gerald’s Game winning over most horror fans, Flanagan is now set to adapt the novel Revival! At this moment he is currently only going to write the script and produce, but as got the option to direct.

For those who haven’t read the novel, the story is set in a small New England town, in the early 60s, where a shadow falls over a small boy playing with his toy soldiers. Jamie Morton looks up to see a striking man, the new minister, Charles Jacobs. Soon they forge a deep bond, based on their fascination with simple experiments in electricity.
