In the late 80’s and the early 90’s, the late Rutger Hauer ruled the straight to Video market, with memories of his new films bringing massive excitement when they hit the local video shelves.

All thanks to his star turns in Blade Runner and The Hitcher, Hauer hardly disappointed and much of his films have rightly become cult classics, with titles like Wedlock, Blind Fury, Wanted Dead Or Alive, still gaining fans to this day.

One of his most beloved films is the 1992 release Split Second that was nothing more than an ALIEN/PREDATOR rip off and all the better for it.

The good news is MVD Entertainment has announced that they are releasing the film on Blu-ray on August 11th and it will be packed full of extras for fans to get their teeth into.
