This Friday will see fans finally getting a long awaited sequel to the bogus adventures of the much loved Bill and Ted and while its an event all those who were young enough in the 90’s are so looking forward too, it will probably be the last time we will ever see these characters.
While nearly every fan was not expecting this sequel to ever happen, the fact its nearly here will be a massive treat to see Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter in these roles after all these years and creators Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson believe after we have seen this, the story will be over.
Solomon was speaking to ComicBook.com when he confirmed the news.
Here is what he said:
We’re good to stand down at this point, and so we told the Bill and Ted story, and it’s complete, I think.
While Matherson added:
Three is the magic number, I think. Beginning, middle, and end. This is the end.”
While there will be a bit of sadness to say goodbye to these characters forever, the fact a third film is only days away is still a surprise and with the trailers promising the fun and mayhem we are used too from these loveable duo, lets hope we get one last memorable time traveling ride.
Bill and Ted Face The Music will released on the 28th August in America and 1st of September in the UK.
It co-stars Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Kristen Schaal, Anthony Carrigan, Kid Cudi, Jillian Bell, and William Sadler as Grim Reaper and our review will be up as soon as we can.
