With the filming of Scream 5 currently underway, fans have been speculating what the film’s official title could be and what the plot is offering up this time.

Scream 5, Scream V, Ghostface have been mooted among the fan base but a worker on the set of the sequel may have given the game away.

In an Instagram post in which the worker has now deleted, posted a picture of the working set and fans quickly glimpsed the “logo” of the film.

It seems that Ghostface is following in the path of Michael Myers and Scream 5 will simply be called Scream, much like Halloween 2018 did in its own franchise.

This is the first SCREAM film to be made by Spyglass and Paramount with READY OR NOT directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett behind the camera.

Original stars Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette have all signed up to star.
