A franchise like Paranormal Activity was never going to be “over” and a few months back it was announced that a new sequel was in development and now it seems a director has been found, even though we do not have a name yet.

Christopher Landon who has just released FREAKY to horror acclaim and who wrote some of the instalments of the popular found footage horror has confirmed that a director has been hired and he is looking forward for the fans to see what is going to happen.

I’m writing the new Paranormal Activity movie; we’re rebooting that franchise. I’m super excited about the director, but I can’t say who it is because they won’t let me [laughs]. He’s a get. He’s awesome!” “I think people are going to be really surprised by where we’re taking this thing.”

Lets hope its an improvement on the the last entry and goes back to the quality of the first three in the saga,
