It was reported over the weekend that we are getting a new Predator film, with 10 CLOVERLANE director, Dan Trachtenberg at the helm.

The sequel will not follow on from 2018’s The Predator that was written and directed by Shane Black, which was a commercial and critical failure.

It will be the fifth film in the long running franchise and Trachtenberg was disappointed that the news broke as he was planning for it to be a secret project.

In a post on TWIITER he stated:

“This was meant to be a surprise. Been working on this for almost 4 years now. I am very sad that what we had in store for how you could discover this movie will no longer happen. It’s a bummer. But also…YAY!“

No news on plot yet, but there are rumours of a female lead!
