After so many sequels, the Milla Jovovich hugely popular Resident Evil film franchise only came to a close few years back, but that hasn’t stopped SONY Pictures from re-booting the saga with a whole new vision, this time sticking more closer to the video Games that inspired it.

Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) – will helm the new version due to hit cinemas in September 2021 and as you can see from the image below, SONY have announced that filming has finished on the set.

There are familiar faces in the cast with the likes of  Kaya Scodelario (Crawl) as Claire Redfield, Robbie Amell (The Babysitter)) as Chris Redfield, Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man and the Wasp) as Jill Valentine and Tom Hopper (The Umbrella Academy) as Albert Wesker, that brings hope that this will be one re-boot to look forward too.
