The 1976 Cult Classic The Man Who Fell To Earth, which starred the late icon David Bowie is set for a TV Remake and Oscar nominated Chiwetel Ejiofor has signed up for the lead role.
Much like Nicolas Roeg’s film adaptation, the show will be based on the book by Walter Tevis, in which Ejiofor will play an Alien who lands on Earth during a crucial period in human evolution and must reckon with his own past in order to save humankind.
Paramount Plus have snapped up the project after HULU passed and the series will be co-written and executive produced by Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet.
