In a genre littered with so many entries and dominated by AMC’s The Walking Dead, South Korean’s horror/thriller Train To Busan stood out among the pack, for its wonderful heartfelt storyline and rip roaring pace that for many become one of the best Zombie films of recent times.

Of course as always, an American remake its on the way but while this has offered some groans by horror fans, because not many have offered up the same quality of its original, the news that horror maestro James Wan was all set to produce the film has stroked some interest and now the project has found its director.

Timo Tjahjanto, known for his work on Netflix’s The Night Comes For Us and more famously for being half of the Mo Brothers with Kimo Stamboel, the pair directing cult Indonesian horror and action movies like Macabre and Killers.

Train to Busan will be Tjahjanto’s first Hollywood feature.
