It may not have been the best Anthology horror movie ever made, but one particular story in the V/H/S tale has left a lasting impression among horror fans. The titled “Amateur Night” is one of the best short stories of horror ever created and made actress Hannah Fierman a star in the eyes of the horror crowd, as she was so good as “Lilly” that we even had a spin off full feature movie “Siren” that while lacking the bite of its original, is still a pretty good watch.
Now the actress is returning to the horror genre with her directing debut “The Events Surrounding a Peeping Tom” and the awesome guys over on Bloody Disgusting have got some juicy details for fans.
“The Events Surrounding a Peeping Tom is the story of Martin Malone, a lonely voyeur who is caught and arrested following a misstep. As he nears the end of his court-mandated rehabilitation, Martin suspects that someone or something far more sinister is watching him.”
The film will hopefully start shooting this October and the cast includes the likes of Damian Maffei (The Strangers: Prey at Night, Haunt, Wrong Turn), and Felissa Rose (Victor Crowley) with Brian James Fitzpatrick having written the script!
One to keep an eye on!
