Its been delayed a few times and its been overshadowed by the recent success of Wandavision, but for MARVEL fans, the wait is nearly over as Scarlett Johansson’s solo outing prequel, BLACK WIDOW has been scheduled for release on July the 9th.
Having been put off for nearly a year, the first film in the planned PHASE 4 of the Marvel Universe will hit cinema’s and Disney+, with the streaming service offering an added premiere access fee to watch.
While its a massive disappointment that many will not get to see Johansson’s much deserved outing on the big screen, at least we finally have an official date to look forward too.
In further Marvel news, Disney has moved up Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings from July 18 to September 3.
