Short news story, but the rather excellent Russian Sci-Fi horror SPUTNIK is getting the much expected English language remake with Matt Reeves who is currently wrapping up The BATMAN, all set to produce.

We have nothing else to go on here, there is no director attached or release date, but I am guessing we’ll have more news emerge over the next few weeks.

The original synopsis of the film is

Summoned to a secluded research facility, a controversial young doctor examines a cosmonaut who returned to Earth with an alien parasite inside of him.

but expect some subtle changes with the remake!
