A quick news story this, but following on from last year’s announcement that a new Pet Sematary film is coming and to be released on the new Paramount + streaming service, its been confirmed that Lindsey Beer  (Sierra Burgess Is a Loser) has been hired to direct the new next chapter of the much loved franchise in which it would be her directorial debut.

Reports last year were quite clear that this new film will be a prequel to the original tale, but there are now rumours that could well not be the case and that the studio are still working on a few ideas, before actually confirming and putting the final touches to the script.

Either way, we are guessing at some point, we will see someone or something, getting buried in that spooky place, created from the mind of Stephen King!
