Its one of the most popular cult films of all time and when it was announced that LEGENDARY ENTERMAINENT were developing a remake of Troma’s The Toxic Avenger, its fair to say, that there was general excitement among the horror crowd.

With Peter Dinklage and Jacob Tremblay already confirmed to star with Macon Blair on directing and writing duties, its been confirmed that Kevin Bacon has signed up to star as the film’s villain.

While not a fan of remakes, this project has us very intrigued indeed.
