The recently announced Pet Sematary prequel is beginning to take shape and one of the most important roles in the franchise has now been cast.
Its been confirmed that Jackson White will play Jud Crandall, a role once made famous by Fred Gwynne and most recently John Lithgow in the the 2019 remake.
The young casting more or less confirms that the story will take many years before the Creed family move to the town and there are hints that the plot could be offering the tale of Timmy Baterman, a story that Crandall told Louis in the hope to persuade him not to go through the idea of buying his son in the infamous Pet Sematary.
Its already been confirmed that the new film will be a Paramount Plus Streaming release.
Lindsey Beer is directing and writing the film.
