Just when you get the feeling from the teasers and the trailer that DEXTER is indeed “Back”, we now get the news that his greatest nemesis, Arthur Mitchell, best known as The Trinity Killer is heading back for the new season revival.

Memorably played by John Lithgow in season four, in what is considered the best episode run of the entire franchise, in which Lithgow himself won an EMMY for his performance, this news release comes as a huge, but much welcome surprise.

Without spoiling it for anyone who has never seen DEXTER, its been reported that Lithgow will only make a “short appearance”, but just the fact that we will see this character again is a clear sign that there is determination to finally make DEXTER memorable once more.

The new season in which Michael C Hall reprises the title character, will air later in the year!
