Just when you thought…..hang on, wrong movie!

A great shark movie that is not JAWS, that’s right, the much anticipated sequel to one of the greatest Shark movies ever made is a few weeks away from release and it’s time to get excited.

It’s been confirmed that RLJE Films and Shudder have acquired North American rights to the sequel. The Reef: Stalked will be released In Theaters, on Digital/VOD and streaming on Shudder on July 29, 2022.

Andrew Traucki who directed the original is back behind the camera and here is the synopsis:

Nic, in an effort to heal after witnessing her sister’s horrific murder, travels to a tropical resort with her friends for a kayaking and diving adventure. Only hours into their expedition, the women are stalked and then attacked by a great white shark. To survive they will need to band together and Nic will have to overcome her post-traumatic stress, face her fears and slay the monster.”

The film stars Teressa Liane (“The Vampire Diaries”), Ann Truong (“Cowboy Bebop”), Saskia Archer (Boshack), Kate Lister (“Clickbait”) and Tim Ross (“Wonderland”).
