One of the greatest movies from the 90s was the stunning CUBE which came out in 1997 and has rightly become a masterpiece among fans.

Directed by Vincenzo Natali, the film saw six strangers trapped in an endless puzzle, the ultimate Escape Room, where a grisly death awaited and while the film spawned a few sequels, there has been talk over the recent years of a brand new film, but nothing has ever came from it.

The guys over on Bloody Disgusting have learnt that Lionsgate are actively looking to bring the franchise back for a new generation and are seeking out brand new ideas.

With the studio looking at also reviving the Blair Witch Project and a new Leprechaun film, horror fans will be licking their lips at the prospect of some old favourites making a return.
