He may have divided many horror fans will his Halloween remake franchise, but Rob Zombie does manage to create a buzz when he announces a new film and his upcoming The Munsters film re-boot is another that is gaining hype and intrigue.

Based on the classic 1960’s TV serial that starred Fred Gwynne. This adaption stars   Jeff Daniel Phillips as the iconic Herman Munster, the director’s wife Sheri Moon Zombie portraying Lily Munster, and Daniel Roebuck cast as Grandpa.

The teaser trailer below starts with a faithful adaption of the old TV show, before moving on and showing us that the film will be in colour.

The Munsters is due out later this year.
