When the directing duo of the barnstorming READY OR NOT signed up to direct a whole new SCREAM film, rumours circled for a while that the lead actress Samara Weaving of their breakout hit, would be joining them, but sadly it never happened…..until now.

Its been confirmed that the talented star who is becoming quite a name in the horror genre will now meet up with GHOSTFACE as she has signed up to appear in the next sequel. alongside Tony Revolori, who played Flash Thompson in the recent Spider-Man movies (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far from Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home).

Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are currently filming the next instalment in which the horror will move away from Woodsboro and take place in New York.

It was recently confirmed that the franchise lead, Neve Campbell will not be appearing in this movie, much to the dismay of the franchise fanbase.
