With it growing close to a 20th anniversary, there was not much hope that we’d ever get a sequel to the 2005 action/horror Constantine that has become a huge favourite among fans over recent years, but with news that a sequel was being talked about, its now moving forward as yes- a sequel script has been written.

In fact its currently residing in executive producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura’s inbox, a statement he revealed in Comic-Con.

“You know, (the script is) in my inbox right now. Funny enough, I’m too scared to read it, though. I want it to be good so bad. I probably read it in the next few days. When I get on an airplane“

Well Mr Bonaventura, please do! With Keanu Reeves reportedly on-board to reprise the DC character role, it may not be too long until we get to Constantine once more on the big screen, fighting off a supernatural threat.
