One of the greatest horror video games of all time, ALIEN ISOLATION, based on the popular film franchise in which we followed Amanda Ripley’s search for her missing mother Ripley, which leads her to an encounter with a terrifying Xenomorph is getting a sequel – yes, you read that right.

Creative Assembly have announced the news as the original nears its 10 year anniversary with Creative director Al Hope delivering the news by saying “On the 10th anniversary, it seems only fitting to let you know that we have heard your distress calls loud and clear.”

“Today, I’m delighted to confirm, on behalf of the team, that a sequel to Alien: Isolation is in early development. We look forward to sharing more details with you when we’re ready.”

This news will delight video gamers who have been hoping for a follow up for many of years….
