In an era where nostalgia is in full swing at the box-office with remakes/legacy sequels and even prequels, it seems that Warner Bros are set to deliver the ultimate 80s vibe as a report by DEADLINE has suggested that follow ups to The Goonies and Gremilns are in the works.

Being two of the most popular hits of the 80s, this will come as huge news to die-hard fans, especially as a rumoured sequel to The Goonies has been circling for many of years.

While not much has been said about that film, we do have a name attached to Gremiins 3 and that is of Chris Columbus, the writer of the original, is back behind the scene.

It’s too early to say if Joe Dante will be back behind the camera for the third time.
