Fresh from the huge critical success of his Nosferatu remake and having closed a deal for his next movie to be a Werewolf horror, titled Werwulf, it’s now been announced that Robert Eggers is finally bringing the forever long mooted sequel of Labyrinth to the big screen.

The popular Jim Henson classic from 1986 that starred David Bowie and a young Jennifer Connelly has had talks of a follow up for years, but nothing has ever materialised until and Eggers sitting in the directing chair makes it even more a tantalising return to the Gobin King and his creatures.
