If you weren’t aware, popular TV show PRISON BREAK is heading back onto the small screen, but leaving behind the story of Burrows and Scofield and heading towards a new path with a new prison, a new plan and no doubt, fresh twists and an abundance of action.

Mayans M.C. co-creator Elgin James is currently writing it and what we do have is the first news of casting with Emily Browning signed up to play Cassidy Collins, “an ex-soldier turned corrections officer takes a job at one of the deadliest prisons in America.” Lukas Gage will play Jackson “a politician from a well-to-do background in his first congressional campaign.” and Drake Rodger will play Tommy, “an inmate at one of the deadliest prisons in America, incarcerated ten years ago.”

No official synopsis at the moment, but once released, we’ll report!

The original Prison Break ran for five seasons with a planned sixth, failing to materialise. Lets hope this new version gets back to the brilliance of its original season.
