The countdown is on for the return of Dexter Morgan, our favourite serial killer who does not know the meaning of death as his apparent demise at the end of NEW BLOOD was nothing but a tease as he returns for more carnage and bloodshed.

A teaser has been released which you can see below, that doesn’t give much away, just announcing to fans that Dexter lives to fight another day, with Michael C. Hall smiling at the camera.

Plot-wise, we know that Peter Dinklage plays the season’s big bad, a billionaire called Leon Prater, with Uma Thurman as Charley, a former Special Ops officer who serves as his right-hand woman. Fans can be very excited that David Zayas is back as Angel Batista with the long-awaited reunion with Dexter just a mouth-watering prosect.

“Dexter: Resurrection” will premiere with two episodes on July 11 on Paramount+ with Showtime.
