In a news story no one expected, the massive success of the DEXTER prequel show ORIGINAL SIN and its recent renewal news confirmining a Season 2, meant nothing as PARAMOUNT have decided to axe the show, leaving fans in despair.

According to sources, the huge critical success of the main shows sequel “Resurrection” as switched the focus of the franchise and plans are now are to continue with Michael C Hall’s role as Dexter Morgan in a planned new season, with a writers room expecting to open to discuss where the story goes next, after the finale in two weeks time.

I am absolutely crushed at the news that there will be no further storylines in the 90s timeline as while it took a few episodes to get used to the new faces in the iconic roles, once the storyline settled, Original Sin was a blast and fans were eager to see a young Doakes arrive for his first ever meeting with the young Dexter.

No one expected Resurrection to be this good, so you can see some reasoning behind this decision, and us fans can only hope that with two episodes left, they’ll get the ending right as it truly deserves an epic conclusion after a majestic run.
