After missing the action in Scream VI, Sidney is back but as always, a brand new GHOSTFACE is not far behind as Paramount Pictures have finally released the much anticipated trailer to the seventh SCREAM.

You may ask yourself, “how can this happen again to our Sidney?” but lets be honest, its always a thrill to see Neve Campbell once more answer that phone and the trailer, while could be considered “heavy in spoilers”, I am guessing what we are getting is a glimpse of the standard opening kill and also a long set-piece in which we get our first glimpse of Isabel May’s Tatum (nice touch) who of course is Sidney’s daughter and now finds herself in the path of her mother’s nemesis.

Courtney Cox’s icon Gale Weathers is spotted and we also get a glimpse of Chad (Mason Gooding) and Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown) the only two characters being carried over from the events of Scream 5 and 6.

Fans will spot a familiar voice at the end of the trailer that will thrill, but obviously they are keeping the secrecy involving the big names that have been announced which only adds to the intrigue.

Scream 7 is being directed by original Scream writer Kevin Williamson from a script by Guy Busick and is set for release on February 27, 2026.
