In a surprise early release, The Becoming has dropped its third chapter ahead of schedule.
Originally set to arrive this Saturday, creator Ross Hughes has decided to release Chapter 3– A Bad Situation early following the strong support and momentum generated by the opening two chapters.
The original horror web series, set within the dark and mysterious world of Merfill Town, has already begun building an audience, with Chapter Two becoming the fastest-performing release so far.
Now, the story continues.
The discovery of another body sends shockwaves through Merfill Town, as Sheriff John Harrison begins to realise that something far darker is unfolding beneath the surface.
Meanwhile, after emerging from the underground bunker, Billy, Beth, Joey and Lexi are met with shocking news that changes everything.
Elsewhere, the Hitchhiker continues his lonely trek through Harpers Forest… unaware that danger is already lurking in the shadows.
While Chapter Three still carries the raw and unfiltered spirit of how the story was originally created, its ending paves the way for Chapter Four — where The Becoming truly begins.
Following the early support from fans, The Becoming has now officially moved from a monthly release schedule to a weekly format, meaning the nightmare in Merfill Town is only just beginning.
