A Metal Gear Solid movie is finally moving forward.
After years of false starts, the legendary video game franchise is getting a serious push towards the big screen — with Final Destination: Bloodlines directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein now attached to lead the project.
The duo will develop the film for Columbia Pictures, marking a major step forward for a franchise that, despite nearly four decades of success in gaming, has never been adapted for cinema.
