Scream 8 is officially in development — and Ghostface isn’t done yet.


Spyglass has confirmed the next chapter in the long-running slasher franchise, with Poker Face writers Lilla and Nora Zuckerman now attached to pen the script.


While plot details remain under wraps, the film is expected to see Neve Campbell return as Sidney Prescott, once again facing off against a new masked killer.

Despite a polarising reaction, Scream 7 has grossed over £200m at the box-office and has become the biggest hit of the franchise, so this news was expected.

The Zuckerman sisters have recently seen their Buffy reboot pilot passed over by Hulu.
