Its still a shame in our eyes that Adam Wingard’s 2016 BLAIR WITCH didn’t quite set the horror world buzzing as it was a pretty good sequel that honoured the original and is still very underrated – but despite that – you can’t keep a good witch down and if you weren’t aware – a new project is coming from director Dylan Clark and now THR reported earlier that some big names of the franchise past are returning.
THR has learned that original actors Joshua Leonard and Michael C. Williams, plus writers-directors Eduardo Sánchez and Daniel Myrick, alongside Gregg Hale will executive produce the new imagining of the 1999 film.
To have the original crew back behind the scenes is a huge step forward and while there is no synopsis yet – you can ensure there are serious plans to make this horror sequel as scary as possible.
