Well, one of the most unexpected announcements for a sequel within the year 2026, must go for this little beauty as VARIETY have reported that John Cusack is once more going to check into the Dolphin Hotel alongside Samuel L Jackson, who we guess must be still managing the place.
Mikael Håfström is also returning to direct, having sat in the chair for the original film that was released way back in 2007. Its being reported that Cusack and Jackson will have minor roles this time, with Elijah Wood and Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer being the main focus this time.
Based on the short story by Stephen King, the original film is popular among fans, so this will be an interesting return to ghostly hijinks in room no one should stay the night.
