It seems that The Quiet Place is now becoming a huge franchise within the horror genre as its been confirmed that the third movie, which is to be directed by Jeff Nichols, from an idea by  John Krasinski will be a spin off, continuing the story, but with new people and in a new part of the world.

This does not mean the end of the Abbot family as there are plans for an official “third movie” to complete the trilogy, its just the next movie will expand the tale further, which more or less opens the franchise to endless possibilities.

Nichols will also write this new addition and Paramount Pictures have got a release date for March 31st 2023 pencilled in.
