Even though the film was delayed for over a year so it could get a cinema release, its been announced tonight that the much anticipated sequel, Halloween Kills is heading straight to streaming.

In a shocking move, David Gordon Green’s follow up to his 2018 reboot will be released on Peacock, the same day as its released in cinemas.

The news has been met by a mixed response from Halloween fans questioning the decision to delay it for a year and wondering if some of the “poorer” reviews have led to this decision.

We doubt that as Universal are more likely trying to push the popularity of Peacock and what a coup for the streaming service to have Michael Myers come home for one murderous night.
