We adore HAPPY DEATH DAY and its sequel so any news on a third film to finish off the franchise is always a good thing for us at Hacked 2 Pieces and its star Jessica Rothe has been talking to they guys over on Coming Soon about Happy Death Day 3.
“I actually just had dinner with Chris Landon last week, and we have a sneaky plan, and it’s not even that sneaky of a plan; it’s just that we feel incredibly passionately about making the third film happen, Rothe teased as she sat down to discuss the release of her next film – the intriguing Affection.
“Because Chris feels really strongly, and I agree, he’s come up with an incredible, incredible end of the trilogy and a way to kind of perfectly cap the movies,” she continued and added – “We are dedicated to do the legwork on our end in terms of developing it and getting it to where it needs to be so that it becomes a no-brainer for the studio”
The reason the final film hasn’t been made yet is simply because, while the first film grossed over $125 million worldwide; its sequel grossed approximately $64 million globally – a drop which has caused the frustration among fans desperate to see the conclusion.
Lets hope we get to see what Rothe and Landon clearly want to make.
