Simon Barrett has been in the movie game for a long time, often writing alongside Adam Wingard on many films like You’re Next, Blair Witch, The Guest and a few more, but he is now venturing onto his own directing debut with the horror thriller SEANCE and if the film is as stylish as the poster, then we do have something really cool to look forward too.

Wingard this time is producing and we haven’t got that long to wait as the film is due for digital release on May 21st.

The film stars Suki Waterhouse as the new girl at the prestigious Edelvine Academy for Girls. Soon after her arrival, six girls invite her to join them in a late-night ritual, calling forth the spirit of a dead former student who reportedly haunts their halls. But before morning, one of the girls is dead, leaving the others wondering what they may have awakened.
